BrettOppegaard.com is a resource for writers of all experience levels as well as a forum for the author and his colleagues. Brett Oppegaard has won many national, regional and state awards as a journalist during more than 15 years of working at daily newspapers. Among the honors, he was chosen to be one of the first critics in the country to be a National Endowment for the Arts fellow. His blog shares such expertise as well as insights into getting published in a variety of media. This site also shows examples of his work and his passion for the craft of writing. An educator as well, Oppegaard has advised student publications and taught courses that have covered all aspects of the field. In addition, he is working on fiction projects ranging from children's books to full-length novels. |
